About Us

Jonas Goring is a former practicing veterinarian, sales professional, technical services specialist, and marketing executive with global experience working in Canada and Europe. Jonas has extensive experience launching new products, managing commercial teams and driving productivity through data driven insights. Through his work with Animalytix, he enjoys finding solutions to the challenges faced by animal health manufacturers and veterinarians. Jonas is a graduate of Concordia University (BSc) in Montreal and holds advanced degrees from Université de Montréal (DVM) and Queen's University in Kingston (MBA).

George comes to DVMetrics from North American Compendiums, where he spent 15 years as the production manager and desktop publisher for the Compendium of Veterinary Products. He also maintained the electronic media delivery systems and his duties included providing support and service for clients, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. George earned a diploma in Media Arts from Sheridan College, where he studied the art and psychology of the modern media.

Travis Meredith holds a unique insight of the animal health market that encompasses over 15 years and the scope of the animal health supply chain. He has successfully launched new products into the companion animal, equine, and cattle markets for companies ranging from venture backed start-ups to global manufacturers as well as owned and operated multiple companion animal and equine veterinary practices. He also has effectively guided several new stage animal health ventures through both the investment and product development processes. Travis holds a DVM from Texas A&M University, residency training at The University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.

Shirley's background includes experience with teaching surgeries, working for over 4 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in a small animal practice, over 12 years at the University of Guelph's Ontario Veterinary College, and in various RVT positions in large and small animal clinics. This was followed by 16 years as Editor of the Compendium of Veterinary Products (CVP), as well as Technical Editor for The RVT Journal, a CE journal for Canadian RVTs. In addition to other responsibilities at DVMetrics. Shirley and a team of RVTs are also working to expand essential data elements within the DVMetrics master data to better provide for client queries.

Joelle's background includes 12 years as a Veterinary Technologist in the Animal Health industry (regulatory + research) and 10 years in Information Technology. Joelle was part of the team that developed the Low Risk Veterinary Health Products (LRVHP) interim notification program and participated in the launch of that initiative within Health Canada in 2017. Her role as the Client Experience Manager is to ensure DVMetrics delivers an exceptional client experience for subscribers and to the Company’s customer-facing initiatives.

Dawn obtained a business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. She began her career with North American Compendiums, where she became a member of the team involved with the production of the first print editions of the Compendium of Veterinary Products (CVP). Dawn went on to manage future CVP print productions and provide editorial input on many other projects. With increased emphasis on electronic content in recent years, Dawn is focused on working with the over 500 companies that make up our Compendium Label Database to ensure that our label information is accurate and up to date. She also researches product development and reaches out to new companies to grow our database.

Karrie began her career in administration, holding a variety of positions in different industries, later transitioning to the technology sector. After her time spent as a Quality Assurance Analyst for web-based applications, she came to work as a Junior Editor for the Compendium of Veterinary Products. She is currently the SDS / MSDS Database Manager for the Safety Datasheet Library.
